Work with me
One to one coaching
I work with purpose-driven professionals who are good at what they do and still feel stuck. Maybe the work that used to energise you has started to feel heavy. Maybe you're questioning whether this is still the right chapter, or wondering what the next one looks like. Maybe you're carrying more than you're letting on, and you haven't had anywhere to just think it through.
That's what coaching with me is for.
I bring thirty years of leadership experience to this work, including time as a CEO in the non-profit sector. I'm currently studying for my professional certificate in executive coaching at Henley Business School, working towards accreditation with the International Coaching Federation. I know what it's like to sit in the chair you're sitting in. I'm not theorising from the outside.
If you're curious about whether coaching might be right for you, maybe I can help.

"When I speak to Lucy, I often feel like I have untangled a knot into something clear and tangible that I can now navigate. It always feels like a collaborative process, where Lucy is able to shine a light on some of the ways I could take a different approach, or identify where there would be benefit from pausing and giving focus to a feeling, idea or challenge.
Some of the ways that make this so effective for me, is Lucy’s focused listening and calm presence. I am sometimes prone to anxiously ruminate on an issue, but when I speak to Lucy, I feel supported to slow down and bring some order to my thoughts. This has been enormously helpful, and I’m already seeing the positive impacts of taking forward the points discussed into my working life."
Speaking
I'm an experienced public speaker and an engaging presence in a room. I've spoken for organisations including Citizens Advice, ACEVO, NCVO, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, and Bond, on topics including charity leadership, equity, and what it actually takes to build inclusive cultures. Some of the work I'm proud of
Before moving to coaching, I spent years working alongside some of the most respected organisations in the sector on leadership, strategy, and equity. That work, with organisations including Comic Relief, The Children's Society, Samaritans, HomeStart UK, and Herts Young Homeless, shapes everything I bring to coaching. Equity and inclusion aren't a specialism I bolt on. They're central to how I think about leadership, organisations, and people.
"During the aftermath of George Floyd's murder in May 2020, like many organisations, The Children's Society had decided to do some work towards becoming an anti-racist organisation. I initially approached Lucy Caldicott and Jaz Nannar from ChangeOut to facilitate a leadership team discussion on this topic. The provocations and challenges Lucy and Jaz shared in the meeting were profound. They helped us to open up, understand each other better, and move us forward towards genuine change. Of the many insights I took personally from the session, the simplest of questions has stuck with me the deepest: 'what is stopping you, what are you waiting for?'"
Joe Jenkins, Executive Director of Social Impact, The Children's Society
"Jaz and Lucy were already working with Herts Young Homeless before I started with the organisation in January 2022. They deftly kept the project moving and high on the team's agenda through the transition to the new CEO. They worked alongside our Board and staff teams: acting as critical friends with their support and challenge, and made difficult topics easier to access and engaging for the team. And they did it with a smile throughout."
Jonny Whitehead, Chief Executive, Herts Young Homeless
